In a third collaboration with prolific curator Manas Acharya and CIMA Gallery, new sound work Gastric Tones (2018) will feature as part of "Response: Installations and New Media", at Gem Cinema, Kolkata's newest contemporary art venue, from the 27 January - 28 February.

Time Machine, These Measures are for Your Protection and The Persistence of Vision (all 2013) to screen at the 4th Little Cinema International Film Festival, Theatre for Experiments in New Technologies, Kolkata, on the 10 December. The Festival runs from the 8-10 December.
18.09.17 CUMULUS CONFERENCE, BENGALURU
Introducing new work Gastric Tones at the Cumulus "Letters to the Future" conference in Bengaluru 22 November. The conference runs from 21 - 24 November. The work differs from previous sound works in that is relies entirely on involuntary, as opposed to performative sounds.
31.05.17 STORM PIECE AT GALERIA WAGNER
The exhibition "Storm Piece by Paul Holmes" will run at Galeria Wagner, Ericeira, Portugal from 24 July to 6 August. The work responds to the theme of the large oceanic swells that hit the western European coast and bring visitors from all over the world to experience the surfing.

Presenting this paper at the "Troubling Time" conference on the 2nd June. Co-panellists include scholars Sarah Durkan Jonida Gashi. The conference, at Manchester University, runs from the 1 - 2 June.

Recently completed video work, Ballygunge Phari (2016) returns home for the Kolkata Art Festival in February. Regular curator Manas Acharya is staging the group show "Shifting Narratives: A Multi-disciplinary art project" in the specially restored Gem Cinema from 4-12 February.

New sound work Storm Piece and recent video Ballygunge Phari (2016) will feature in Chander Haat group show "Life and Times: A Changing Landcape" at the Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata, from 22 - 29 March. The exhibition is being staged by eminent artist, activist and curator Probir Gupta and features invited work from Pushpamala N among others.
